DEGENBID · Season 2 Competition
THE RULES
OF THE ARENA.
Bid. Lead. Dominate. Earn tickets, reach the top five and compete for a MacBook Pro 16″ — M-series.
The prize is conditional. Every season-wide award condition must be met. If any condition fails, the prize is not awarded.
One prize. Every condition.
One verified winner receives a MacBook Pro 16″ — M-series, only when all conditions below are met together. Reaching a volume target alone does not unlock the prize.
Total credited Season 2 bid volume.
Credited volume in each of the 28 epochs.
Each active team contributes at least $10 in that epoch.
New, unique participants who meet the qualification rules.
Realized Season 2 operating income, less competition expenses and the prize’s $1,000 accounting value.
The active teams may change between epochs. The same five teams do not need to appear throughout the season, and no separate minimum team headcount applies. A strong epoch cannot make up for another epoch falling below a required threshold. The growth ambition of 500 new participants is a stretch goal; the mandatory threshold is 300.
How the profit condition is confirmed
Realized income means funds actually received from Season 2’s Operating allocation after conversion and its costs. Unconverted token valuations, other protocol allocations and obligations to participants are not organizer income. Project-funded activity is excluded. Conversion fees are deducted once.
Competition expenses include packaging, shipping, insurance and infrastructure. An unused expense reserve is not an expense. The calculation deducts a fixed $1,000 accounting value for the prize, then must leave at least $1,000 in economic profit.
The final calculation includes a confirmed delivery quote for the selected recipient. A provisional winner announcement does not guarantee the award. A replacement recipient’s route and resulting profit are checked again. The accounting method and admissible expenses are fixed before the start; the final calculation and supporting evidence are published with the results.
Your way into the competition.
Your own accepted, credited bids count together. Admission activates automatically when both requirements are met.
This means $10 across two epochs, not $10 in each epoch. For example, $6 + $4 qualifies. $50 in only one epoch does not qualify. No separate registration form is required. Referrals are optional.
- Participants must be 21 or older. One person may enter with one competition wallet.
- Organizers, project employees and project-controlled participants cannot win. Their bids are excluded from competition metrics.
- Season 1 participants are eligible, but only their Season 2 actions count. They are not counted as new participants.
- Late entry is allowed. There is no late-entry bonus; qualified referrals can help compensate for fewer available epoch bonuses.
- Participation is international; the organizer has set no competition country allowlist.
- Verification and delivery contact details are requested from finalists. You may separately choose to receive launch notifications through the voluntary waitlist; this has no effect on admission, tickets or prize eligibility.
Season 2 contains 28 nominal six-hour epochs. Its nominal duration is seven days; on-chain epoch extensions and settlement determine the actual end. UPBIDER covers this season, including permitted extensions. Earlier activity and later seasons do not count.
Earn your place in the top five.
Tickets are ranking points. They improve your position for reaching the final; they are not a random draw. Your ticket balance activates only after admission.
| Action | Tickets |
|---|---|
| Complete admission | +1 |
| Every $10 of your own total Season 2 credited bids | +1, capped at 5 |
| Every two qualifying epochs | +1 |
| Each new qualified referral | +3, once per referral |
| That referral reaches four qualifying epochs | +1 more, once |
T = 1 + min(5, ⌊V / 10⌋) + ⌊E / 2⌋ + 3R + L- V
- Your own total credited Season 2 volume in USD.
- E
- Your qualifying epochs, with at least $5 of your own credited bids in each.
- R
- Your new qualified referrals.
- L
- Those referrals who reach at least four qualifying epochs.
Fractional amounts are rounded down, never up. Each epoch counts once; bids across supported teams and eligible directions are added within it. Splitting an amount into microbids gives no additional tickets. After $50, your personal volume component stays at five tickets. Further bids can still contribute to qualifying epochs and season targets. There is no cap on qualified referrals.
Five examples without referrals
| Your credited bids | Result |
|---|---|
| $6 + $4 in two epochs | Admitted · 2 tickets. Only one qualifying epoch. |
| $5 + $5 in two epochs | Admitted · 3 tickets. |
| $1 in each of ten epochs | Admitted · 2 tickets. No qualifying epochs. |
| $50 in one epoch | Not admitted until a credited bid in another epoch. |
| $5 in each of 28 epochs | Admitted · 20 tickets: 1 + 5 + 14. |
Bring real new participants.
A new qualified participant must meet all three requirements:
- Have no accepted Arena bids before Season 2.
- Reach at least $10 of their own credited bids across at least two different Season 2 epochs.
- Pass unique-person and organizer-exclusion checks, meet the 21+ rule and comply with published country eligibility.
Organic and referred newcomers both count toward the 300-person season target. For referral tickets, your referral code must be attached to the newcomer’s first-ever accepted Arena bid. Clicking a link, connecting a wallet or funding it is not enough. Existing participants cannot become new referrals.
You receive +3 tickets once your referral qualifies. Their additional four-epoch bonus uses the same $5 credited-per-epoch rule: at least $20 across four qualifying epochs earns you +1 more ticket, once. The $5 rule applies to epoch bonuses; basic admission remains $10 total across two epochs.
Five finalists. One project-selected winner.
The five admitted participants with the most verified tickets become finalists. If ticket totals tie, the ranking is decided in this order:
- More new qualified referrals.
- More of your own qualifying epochs.
- Earlier admission, using the accepted bid that completed it and blockchain transaction/event order if timestamps match.
- Bringing new qualified participants.
- Repeat activity from those referrals.
- Your own consistent participation.
The project chooses from the five using these published priorities and explains the decision with verified activity. First place and the largest personal spend do not automatically win. No extra jury scoring system is introduced after the start.
If a finalist cannot receive the prize
The project sets the remaining finalists’ order using the same selection priorities. A refusal, missed response deadline or confirmed violation moves consideration to the next finalist. There is no random redraw.
If all five are exhausted, the next five admitted participants in the frozen ranking are considered using the same priorities. This repeats until a recipient is confirmed or eligible entrants are exhausted. The last group may contain fewer than five.
This procedure only applies when all award conditions are met. It cannot repair a failed season threshold or a failed final profit check. If no suitable recipient remains, no prize is awarded.
Results, checks and delivery.
After the final epoch actually ends and settles: activity checks, a provisional wallet/ticket list, 24 hours for corrections and appeals, the frozen ranking and a provisional winner.
The provisional winner responds, proves wallet control and provides the information needed for delivery.
After recipient details and an available route are confirmed, the delivery quote is included in the financial calculation. The award is confirmed only if every condition passes.
After confirmation of the winner, delivery details and an available route, the prize is handed to the carrier, provided all award conditions are met.
A replacement candidate receives their own seven-day response window and route review. A confirmed data-source outage may add up to seven calendar days to verification, with a public explanation and revised deadline. A provisional announcement is not an unconditional award.
Appeals and participant verification
After the provisional list is published, participants have 24 hours to report an error with their wallet, an explanation and supporting events or transactions. Corrections are made before the ranking is frozen and finalists are selected.
The project reviews suspected artificial participants and finalist referral groups. Further evidence, including a short verification call, may be requested when there are concrete signs of a violation. A wallet signature proves wallet control, not a unique human. A shared exchange, bridge or funding source alone does not justify exclusion.
Exclusion reasons are explained without exposing personal data. Information collected is used for verification and prize receipt. Thresholds, ticket calculations, selection criteria and the accounting method are fixed before the start.
Shipping and local charges
The project covers packaging, shipping and insurance. The recipient covers local customs charges. If their route is unavailable, they can provide an accessible address in another country or arrange a personal handover. No automatic cash replacement is promised.
Carrier handover is confirmed publicly and tracking is provided to the recipient. Their address and personal details are not disclosed. The dispatch deadline does not guarantee an arrival date.
Only credited activity counts.
Competition accounting uses accepted Season 2 Arena BidPlacedevents and the microUsd value recorded when each bid was accepted. One USD equals 1,000,000 microUSD. The protocol operates on Robinhood Chain.
- The credited amount is used, rather than your wallet’s starting amount before routing, gas and other costs. A $5 starting payment can produce less than $5 of credited volume.
- Each accepted payment counts once. Vault, referral, route and leaderboard events do not create additional bids.
- Rejected transactions, approvals, quotes, unfinished bridges and swaps without an accepted Arena bid do not count.
- A refund of an excess payment does not remove the accepted part of a successful bid.
- Protocol reward claims do not count as new bids. Reused funds count only after another accepted Arena bid and do not prove new external capital.
- Off-chain fallback API data is not mixed with on-chain competition records.
Platform outages and corrections
Successful bids remain valid on-chain even if the website or indexer temporarily displays incorrect data. Display errors are corrected against blockchain records.
Volume and activity thresholds stay in force during technical incidents. A contract pause stops new bids but does not freeze epoch time. Lost hours are not automatically added; free qualifying epochs or artificial volume are not granted.
Contract-permitted late bids can extend epochs 1–27 by up to 30 minutes and epoch 28 by up to 60 minutes. There is no administrative reset, restart or extension in the current season contract. Serious incidents are reported with their timing and consequences.
