What it is
DEGENBID runs BIDCOIN: teams (chain + contract) compete for board rank with whole-dollar bids. Tickers alone do not merge listings. A bid buys participation and visibility — it is irreversible after accept, not a deposit that promises your dollars back.

Clock: 6-hour epochs · 7-day season
Season №1 uses 6-hour UTC epochs (28 per week-long season). Late bids can extend the window; the last epoch of the season uses a wider final window. Season score accumulates across epochs; daily rank resets each epoch.
Pockets & prizes
Accepted bid value splits across fixed pockets (epoch prizes, season prizes, holders, LP, burn, operating). Top-3 teams share the epoch prize 50/30/20; inside a team, score (hold + early) drives wallet weights. Books conserve per asset — the model does not invent profit by changing multipliers after money is accepted.
Oracle & pauses
Each bid quote uses the current BID/COIN price from the Pons market and the current COIN/USDG price from the Robinhood DEX. The signed quote fixes the BID amount for 30 seconds. Spot prices can move between quotes. Contract pauses stop new bids; funded claims remain claimable.
The fresh protocol is deployed on Robinhood Chain mainnet with a 10-minute governance timelock. Holder rewards are available only after a funded, reviewed claim is activated. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Memecoins and BID can go to zero.
